Privacy
Tests entered or imported in the analysis workspace remain in your browser unless you sign in and choose to save them. Closing or refreshing an unsaved workspace clears its test data.
Saved tests
Signing in with Google creates an account using your name, email address and profile image. Saved swimmer names, dates, strokes and repetition times are stored against your account. Other accounts cannot access your tests.
Usage measurement
SWIMIT records page visits, successful and unsuccessful imports, completed analyses, report previews and print requests. A random identifier in browser storage and a matching first-party cookie estimate returning visitors and link registration to a visit. These events do not include swimmer names, uploaded contents or test results. Clearing browser storage resets the identifier.
Account creation, successful sign-ins and saved tests are recorded separately to help the site owner understand usage. The owner can review registered users and sign-in activity. Anonymous visitors are not identified by name. Counts may include automated traffic and are estimates.
Cookies
A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. Temporary cookies support Google sign-in. A usage-measurement cookie lasts up to 90 days. There is no advertising tracking or payment processing.
Your data
Use Saved tests to export your records or delete individual assessments. Only upload data you are authorised to process.
Resource downloads
When you request a downloadable resource, we record the name and email you enter, your IP address, the request time, browser information, country code when available, and traffic source information (referring page and campaign tags). We also use the website’s browser identifier, when available, to understand visits and resource use.
We use these records to deliver resources, understand demand and traffic, and limit automated abuse. Downloading a resource does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing emails. Email addresses are self-reported and are not verified.
Download records are accessible only through the owner’s website manager and are stored with the website’s hosting provider. They are retained until the owner deletes them. To request access or deletion, contact Gio Postiglione, the website owner.
A recorded download means the server issued a file response; it does not prove the file was saved. Traffic sources may be unavailable because of browser settings or missing campaign tags.
Contact messages
When you use the Contact Me form, we store your name, email address, message and submission time so Gio can read and respond to your enquiry. These records are stored with the website’s hosting provider and are accessible only through the owner’s website manager. They are retained until the owner deletes them.
To limit automated abuse, we also store a daily hash derived from your connection’s IP address. The contact form does not store the raw IP address. Your email address is self-reported and is not verified. Sending a message does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing.
To request access to or deletion of your message, use the Contact Me form.
